Did you ever take time to just chill outside the gates, enjoy the food and the company of your friends? Have you noticed the number of smokers outside the gates? Does it make a difference to be technically outside?
Picture this. There are 2, 3 smokers wearing school uniforms standing next to the huge sign that says LA SALLE COLLEGE ANTIPOLO. Going to LSCA, the first things you see are the smokers and the huge sign. And you associate the smokers with the school name. This sight does not uphold the name of the school.
There are also times that people are actually smoking in campus. I’ve had this experience that I was having a chat with a friend of mine at the back of Miguel Hall. After a few conversations, we looked down and noticed that there are two guys smoking. They ran after they realized that somebody caught them. Another instance is when I went in the washroom of Solomon Hall. The moment I closed the door, I know that someone lit a cigarette in there. Yes you are burning your lungs outside or in an unseen are but make sure that you would not cause damage to others in any form.
